Careful what you wish for, if Firefox dies now (before alternatives are viable) then Google owns the web and no new browser engines will be able to even get a sniff of a foot in the door!

Read the story, it wasn’t just for fun, it was their only working PC!
SystemHome Assistant OS, the Home Assistant Operating System, is an embedded, minimalistic, operating system designed to run the Home Assistant ecosystem. It is the recommended installation method for most users.
Given that I recently read the intro on Codeberg (which I think is the main public Forgejo instance) and it was very pro-copyleft, I’m surprised this wasn’t already the case! Good news, though.
You’ll probably have to wait a while! They made a statement earlier in the year about wanting to release SteamOS3 just for handhelds rather than every PC, so I get the impression that they want to try and perfect one thing before expanding, rather than trying to rush out a load of ideas before they’re ready.
I didn’t know Heroic did Amazon too, I’ve got Lutris set up for that
Heroic has always been fine for GOG for me, but it just wouldn’t load any of my Epic library last time I tried to use it
Yeah that makes sense. Do you know if there’s any more info about these projects? I’d love to know how they actually work under the covers but this post definitely seems aimed at people who already know a lot about the project!
So… err… where do I put the disc?
Is that just for the buttons? I did a one minute eBay search and you can get a pink replacement for every button and the whole shell for $40!
I hope this isn’t too late, but don’t read anything about this game before you play it!
Neat!
You’ll get maybe ten to fifteen years out of it
That’s way longer than most consoles last before the servers get turned off

I initially tried pressing the bit that’s not flat against the back by squeezing it and it really wasn’t comfortable for my hand, but pressing the bit that is flat against the back is way easier
Almost every day, it’s really helping get through the backlog I’ve built up over the years!
Ooh nice, I’ll give that a go, cheers!
Depends on which browser is the default, I think. Even if that doesn’t work you can set you private DNS and block most things though.
I saw it posted recently but the install looked non-trivial, so it’s now sitting in my “to play when I can be bothered to do some tinkering” pile. What did you do to get it running on Deck?
My office chair is a gaming chair (seems fine), my gaming chair is the sofa and a big pile of cushions (and the bog, of course)
