I don’t even use emulators for Switch because mine is hacked, but I felt the need to get the last Yuzu and Ryujinx on principle.

No, because if they wanted a Switch, they would have bought one.
And I guarantee a lot, if not most, of those people didn’t even have Switches. If Nintendo had released a PC version they would have sold a ton more.
The last version released is 1.1.1403. Easy to find with a google search.
True. The only time we’ve seen a Toad’s skeleton is when they’re electrocuted in Mario Strikers Charged.
Saving one monarchy from another.
You can also use Nintendo’s own emulators to play most NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, and Genesis games. Nicer interface and has rewind.
A good option if you have a Steam Deck!
I was already emulating, but I prefer to play on a TV so I still bought games for my launch Switch. I was waiting for their next console before I jailbroke it, but annoyance with Nintendo for doing this pushed me to do it this past weekend. Now they’ll get no more sales from me on the Switch guaranteed.

I’m sure most Nintendo “fans” aren’t a fan of the company itself, just the games
Yup. I like their games and hate their business practices. Also been pirating their games since the 90s.
I don’t have a problem with the tech being old as long as the games are good, but the failure rate of their joycons and pro controllers is abysmal! I got a converter to use a PS5 controller on the Switch and it’s much better!
Agreed, they’re the worst!
Like GOG, but for movies. GOM?
Still doesn’t fit, because you’re not taking anything, you’re making a copy.
It’s copyright infringement.
Netflix would have loved to have kept everything on their platform, but once they proved it was profitable, everyone yanked their stuff off and made their own streaming services. Of course, Netflix has shown that it would have become enshittified regardless.
You wouldn’t!
All of Microsoft’s games are also on PC and even Sony has been putting many of their games there a year later. Nintendo’s the only one left that locks all of them to their console forever.
