That’s funny that you mention hardware, cause in Germany you pay a set fee for each device (13.19€ for a computer, 6.25€ for a phone) on purchase since it could be used to create copies of media.

It’s a music tracker + finder + social network. You can see how your taste changes over time. Personally my favorite feature is the weekly stats with a genre timeline.
If you want an online tool, cobalt.tools can rip the original youtube audio if you choose “best” format in settings -> 🎶. It’s also FOSS with no tracker/ad garbage so I can recommend it as an alternative for yt-dlp which has been mentioned already.
The new icon is so cute!
They’ve adopted this return policy only after being sued by the Australian ACCC.
Especially after hearing that some sticks/touchpads (I can’t remember what) don’t work immediately after booting into Steam OS with the new SSD.
No need to worry, this is just because the recovery image installs an older SteamOS version which does not support the updated firmware of the controls.
The touchscreen and especially mice and keyboards connected via USB should always work, then after a system update that gets you back to a recent SteamOS version the controls will work again as well.
I nuked my personal instance because of this :(
Dealing with pictrs is just frustrating currently since there’s no tools for its database format and no frontend for the API. I half-expected this outcome but I hope it gets better in the future.
