I wouldn’t have an issue with many different communications platforms if they didn’t all require an account (also Discord not being indexable sucks).

Thanks, I’ll have to take a look into that, I can definitely tell the microsd struggles (and it would free up my microsd slot for extra steamos storage).
Is that faster than loading it on a microsd card? That’s how I currently boot windows on my steamdeck, but it’s a little slow to load and initial loads for some games can be painful.
You can load windows on the steamdeck, nothing is stopping you. I actually have a Bootable microsd with windows to play gamepass games. That being said, the drivers for windows are a bit messy and setting it up is kinda a pain.
Sync thing is a great resource if you want your files to be replicated across systems. I use it for files that I might work on while in different locations and devices.
Its basically a personal onedrive or Dropbox.
I’ve used Ubooquity on and off for this. It has some nice features, but isn’t open source.
Does that work for games run on proton. I don’t think Capcom is making promises the games will run on Linux, so I wouldn’t think this would count. The game does still run correctly.
I was just about to mention the Xperia Play until I read your post. It wasnt the best phone, but it let you play pretty much anything up to the PS1 era on your phone with a physical game pad.
Its crazy that it still seems ahead of some of the android retro consoles you can find today, given the sliding screen and, at least in my option, decent ergonomics.
There are sites like this (https://www.whatismyip.net/tools/torrent-ip-checker/index.php?hash=1b0ed881214381f342f844fd640a3f495c6be898) that let you download a torrent. When you run the torrent in the client the site tells you the IP of your torrent client. Based on that info you can tell if it’s running through the VPN or not.
I don’t like Ubooquity, but Calibre somehow seems worse.
The download feature is always in some state of broken, but it has gotten a lot better over the past couple of years. If you haven’t tried it in a year or so, you may have better luck now.
