So that would make it 1.4m in the last two weeks which makes a big difference.
It would have been nice for the article to actually discuss these specifics. I’m not sure what we’re supposed to take away from it.

He doesn’t actually do the calculation required to give an estimate of what that number is.
Going on the stats in the article:
that would imply ~1.4m Steam Decks sold
The article does go on to say:
Keep in mind that by November last year, Valve said the Steam Deck had already sold “multiple millions”.
So really this (very rough estimate) is telling us nothing that we didn’t know already. The top seller charts are showing exactly what we would have expected to see.
I think for now Forgejo is a drop-in replacement. However since they are a hard-fork, at some point in the future they will diverge enough to be mutually incompatible, so the clock is ticking on migrating.

If you’re not storing on a filesystem that calculates and checks erasure codes then you can always generate PAR2 files yourself.
I agree with your original comment; it’s worth using a dedicated PC for gaming on the TV. But I think your second sentence is just parroting current-gen console marketing. It’s not actually true that current-gen consoles are providing a 4k@60 HDR experience.
No, Forza Motorsport uses dynamic resolution upscaled to 4k in Performance mode, and in Quality mode it also uses dynamic resolution but targets 30fps.
I was asking specifically about native 4K games, not dynamic resolution upscaled to 4k.
Interesting, thanks.
if you wanted an answer why are you arguing?
It was a rhetorical question. There are no actual current-gen releases running at 4k60 native resolution. They all use dynamic resolution with 1080p-1440p rendering resolution that then upscales to 4k for display.
A PS4 game? Nice.
What game on what console?
Now that TunnelVision has been disclosed to the general public
That vulnerability affected every OS except Android.
4k 60fps HDR experience that most people are getting used to from the main console makers
What games are you playing on console where you are actually getting 4k native resolution at 60fps?

Some more projects here: https://hackaday.com/blog/?s=lawnmower
Maybe skip the first one (running DooM on your lawnmower), I don’t think that will help.
Ah, you’re talking about LUKS. LVM is just the volume manager.
The standard way is to add an sshd
(such as dropbear) to your initramfs
so that you can ssh in and run commands (such as entering the root partition password) during system boot.
See:
will that cause me problems on a headless server if I get a power outage and need to reboot? I think yes
Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but what is the problem that you anticipate with LVM after a power failure?
Yes, but they’re made by Apple.
