Probably because of your DNS configuration?
Probably because of your DNS configuration?
Thanks for the great explanation
Huh. I guess I didn’t fully understand how DNS works.
My understanding was that DNS servers propagated their listing to other DNS servers and you just had to point your computer to the one you want and it would just query that one. And if a URL can’t be found, then it’s probably because
A) it doesn’t exist
B) it exists but hasn’t been fully propagated yet
C) the DNS server listing is outdated
Just send them to JustWatch.
I’ve downloaded many off of the internet service. Plus there’s a bunch on YouTube you can download with a browser extension or a website that can convert it for you.
When I was a poor student I pirated everything. Music, software, games, you name it.
Now that I have a good stable income, I pay for the things I want because I want to encourage artists and developers. But corporations and capitalism are ruining it all.
So, I’m changing my habits. Paying money where it actually has a significant impact on the creators, (like going to live concerts and shows, buying albums directly from the artist or from their own site, buying indie games from small studios, going to watch movies from studios that respect their employees and artists and unions) and pirating the ever loving shit out of everything else coming out of a large corporation.
That’s a good suggestion.
You don’t need to buy a key from your own pocket.
Just be honest like I said in another reply. Ask for help. I’m sure he’ll help you out and you’ll be fine.
I don’t think you’re fucked. As long as you’re honest about what happened.
IT shares a bit of the responsibility here by giving you so much access to your system to allow you to install a whole OS on your own.
Do you have an IT department? Go explain to them how you fucked up and used a Windows key from a pirate website on your work laptop and risked the company’s reputation and a possible lawsuit from a tech giant and how you wish to unfuck things before it’s too late or lose your job.
Fucking hell man. That was a dumb move. I hope you learn a lesson from this.
I don’t even know how to look for onion sites. I don’t want to encounter any regrettable content either. So is there a way to search for onion sites in a safe way?
Major Thanks. I’ll be able to compare thanks to this.
Yeah if you self host, a UPS is very important.
I’m a paying customer and I don’t have this problem.
Dude. Play Death Stranding with compatibility enabled to use proton and you’re in business. You’ll be playing for a looooong time exploring an incredible landscape.
Edit: I didn’t realize this was the piracy community. I immediately assumed you would use Steam. My bad.
But if you can get it to work with proton for real, it’s worth it.
Is it delivery? No! It’s Dicio.
I’ll see myself out…
Someone described to me in detail how your computer resolves hostnames.
