Well, stop playing airplane and lend a hand!

Depends on what upload speed your internet has.
I tried signing up for a few but they want me to disable my VPN … nope.
Well, I don’t know how much it’s using but I suspected it was somewhere between 0 and 550 ;)
Yeah, that’s how power adapters usually work. Thanks.
I really don’t know much it’s actually using but my NAS has a 550W power adapter …
My only gripe(s): only 2 USB ports
I have a DS2422+ and even that only has 2 USB ports. But you can expand them with a USB-hub. I had 5 external drives connected over a single port without issues.
Synology’s limited list of “approved” HDDs.
You can use this script and put it as a scheudeled task “on boot”. It will automatically add all your harddrives to the list of verified drives, disabling all warnings and errors with it.
Jellyfin has even less features.
I don’t think so.
There is an option for the % of the episode you need to watch for it to be considered “watched”, but the lowest it goes is to 70%. Maybe you could edit the config to set it to a lower value. But of course that would mess up shows you actually want to partially watch and resume later.
You could manually mark the episode as watched after watching the monologue.
If I find something and I don’t have it, yet, I download it.
This one? Sensitive: The Untold Story (2015)
There is a 1080p version with 4 seeders on ext.to
That’s about half of it.
With a yo ho ho!
i don’t want every file to be named “[ASDF]some.shitty.show.S3E7.MULTI(360p h264 7.1 dual audio).mkv”
That file name contains the S3E7 bit, which is enough for it to get parsed by plex. Seems to be a jellyfin issue.
I keep both but in the same library.
You know a torrent site that has German releases?
Mine aren’t even on the list :(
I just recently upgraded from my 2 bay NAS, simply because I ran out of storage and attaching more drives via USB just seemed silly at this point (I was already at 5).
I now have a DS2422+ 12 bay with 6x 20TB plates. And I very much expect the NAS to last past 10 years. HDDs can be added and replaced if you have raid setup. Not very feasible in 2 bay NAS.
At this point I’d be happy with a medicore tracker that has any German content.
