I do this and just run Ubuntu on a Thinkcenter tiny.
Then this for input off the sofa.
I also put a few Braille dots on few buttons and glow in the dark paint on a few important dots to make it more usable which really works, Braille especially.
Then… A few bookmarks in the firefox, jellyfin, navidrome, Spotify, vlc/MPV from mounted NAS etc.
I don’t bother with any media/apps interface, I mostly see them as annoying and not needed with this KB/trackball setup.
Then…Bob’s your uncle!

Portable in the sense there is no lock in ie I can get up and leave with my data.
It’s a bit hard to do that with anytype.
If they stopped producing features or I wanted my data in another program, I’m stuck with a “Open source” format, but no where to go…

AFAIK they have a proprietary data format so your files aren’t really that portable. Therefore I suggest obsidian and syncthing together.

If you’re a beginner, just look into haos virtual machine image, and a guide to go with… Might be easiest. You can snapshot your progress along the way to ensure copies
You actually want to do it from your host machine, not the haos machine, since the container you are looking for seems to be the haos itself, so it’s your host that is trying to download it, if i understand correctly.
Otherwise why is your haos needing the generic home assistant container? AFAIK it shouldn’t download itself to update itself.
Maybe that’s the issue? You’re trying to download from inside the haos instead of outside? (host)

What’s the python version in that plugin?does it have a hash bang python version at the start of the file? What python version do you have installed on that server? Does the plugin need python deps?
That path you FTP it to, what is it it’s full path? Is Qbit running on the same user as that “~” is taking you to?
