I felt my vote needed to be aginst the extreme right. The pirate party is more of a secondary needs party, once primary beeds have been taken care of. Digital freedom isn’t worth much if you’re living under the threat of fascism regarless.

Meh. It could be worse… It will be worse
Totally. I mean, it could cost you your life savings and possibly your freedom if they come for you. But their admin’s life savings is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
Does this qork with plex? (I guess not)

I was a truck driver, driving long distances, long hours. I was listening up to 4 audiobooks per week. Audible only offered 4 books per month.
Screw word. I’m studying Software Development, but I have to write all these management reports for various classes. I’m just writing them in LaTeX now, so it feels like I’m coding while I’m writing a paper. Implement some new fancy features every time that I than have to debug like I do with code.
I’ve been hearing a few complaints lately. Tha lemmy isn’t good enough and that people are going back to the dark side. But I dont see it.

I downloaded The Lighthouse and later found out that Netflix has it. I have Netflix, but it’s mostly for the kids.
We just call him “the watcher”. We don’t know who or what he is. We just know he’s always there, lurking in the shadows, watching.
There are various TLD’s out there though and they all look equally shady.
Can someone post the link to this awful, copyright enfringing, menace website, so I know what to block?
Thanks for giving the solution.
That’s allright. Than I’ll stop paying entirely. Until that time I’ll keep it on. I’ve allready got contingencies in place, it’s mostly the kids that use it nowadays.
Yeah I have. They’ve propted me a couple times to confirm that I am in the single family home. Just confirm it and that’s that. (We’ve made a shared email account for netflix specific). Maybe that’s not the full force of the crackdown?
Honestly, the netflix “single family home” thing isn’t as bad as I first imagined. I still share my account and we never have any problems.
I always used SmartAudiobookPlayer (android). It saves your progress nicely. Never felt the need for chapters
It’s no too hard. You could do it over a weekend if you’re technically inclined like you say.
My tip: set it up on a clean pc (or nas or pi or whatever you’re gonna use), don’t use your old pc that still has all your files and stuff. I just booted up my old pc, that I hadn’t cleaned and got the whole arr suite and plex set up for my local network. It all works, but now that I want to open it up to the outside, I realize that have to first clean my pc. That pretty much means starting over.
This might be true, but it’s rapidly changing due to a collaborative effort from big gaming companies, streaming services and hollywood. People are relearning the art of torrenting.
