I actually went there maybe 6 months ago, but they were (which is totally okay) not interested in my protocol or how it works. I’m probably not very good in selling it either 😞😊.

A side question : I’m making a similar protocol, anyone knows some space where you discuss stuff like I2P, IPFS etc?

They all have their pros and cons, and I’d like to see if my protocol and its possibilities would interest.

Do you know if it works well with GPIO from python? IIRC I had to use a OPi image and then fix and compile some low level lib.

Slightly less good (software wise) but so much worth the money IMO. I’d avoid like the i96(IIRC. If no video output well I couldn’t setup ssh etc. That was some time ago so take the information with a grain of salt).

It’s a little more difficult space to navigate but worth it if you know why you want one for sure.

Splurged some crazy money on a Crucial MX 256GB, 320€ IIRC, I still think about it sometimes but god what an upgrade :-)

After years as my boot device it spent running lots of familys PCs witbout a hiccup, now it’s retired as a small extra ssd in a linux box.

I’m very lucky to have 30€ 1Gb/~0.7Gb and the option to hop on the new freebox with symmetrical 8Gb for 40€/month. So today if I need to cap I’d just use my old 100Mb switch for my server I guess.

Not that I need it today (like at all), but I could host art videos (for example) or help out maybe. Thinking about it I should probably help and then bump up when needed…

Yeah, make a Pi with 1GB RAM, video & ethernet for like 20-30€ and you’d ruin me.

I know about the banana, orange, whetever-pis but in my experience they always needed lots of extra stuff to work (like fucing and recompiling libraries). The Pi “just worked” IMO.
