Asahi is not at all “alpha” and I’d hesitate to describe even parts of it on the first and second generation Apple silicon as “beta.” Its daily driver levels of stability and I’m constantly impressed by it.

Peak g*mer comment.
Roflmao at Linux winning the desktop space.
It’s really not, like at all. QuickSync is fast af and overkill for almost any usecase.
I only play on 5 and below on the Deck.
It has a really bad release. A few patches in, it turned into a good enough game. It’s still nowhere near as good as the heyday of Fallout with 2 and Tactics, but it’s a good enough game.
IME most domestic flights and commuter flights don’t have them.
GL.iNet’s travel routers have a USB port and support plugging in a EHDD to share over the network they create.
Thanks, gonna check it out.
I’m on Plasma, my issue has always been getting the Bluetooth to function properly. bluez-util just won’t sync with it consistently.
I’ve never been able to get my PS5 controller working properly on my main PC, which is an Arch system. So, when I got my Steam Deck I just went with an Xbox controller. It’s not a solution to your specific issue, but I haven’t had any issues with this setup.
I dumped mine because it wasn’t playing well with blues-util on my desktop install and moved to Xbox controllers. As I understand it, the issues are now resolved but I don’t see a strong reason to move back. I’m quite pleased with the build quality and durability of the Xbox controller.
This is the correct solution. OP’s issue is a common one which shows up on the PiHole discussion forums regularly. I frequently forget to perform this step on new installs, too.
Idk man, runs great on my Proxmox machine
They’re basically the RC Cola of Usenet. Instead of messing around with torrents and private trackers, just move on to the grownup option.
Hey, fellow PlayOn lifetime subscriber! I feel you and not everyone needs to feel the way I do about this. But, I’m fine with it. That may change, but it’s where I am now.
I’m fine with this. The old model was great and unsustainable. They are switching with the explicit goal of not taking VC money, which is a good thing in any context.
From the mid-80s onward you’ll have little to no difficulty finding most things on usenet trackers, there are even a few that specialize in classic TV (think 50s-70s) and those may be good spots for more obscure shows from 20-30 years ago.
torrents are last decade, and newsgroups is where it’s at for this stuff
100% accurate. There are a ton of guides online to getting your indexer and providers picked and set up. It’s a much better space than torrents. I’m never going back into the muck with those things.
BULLSHIT
No one has hard bricked a device, you can always flash MacOS back with a tool. Any issues installing are years old. OFC it’s a work in progress, so is all of Linux even RHEL. It is 100% ready to daily drive and many people do.
