No because their dog is also morally inferior for eating meat and should also be punished.

Hmm. Claims to not support animal torture yet joins hexbear and tortures all of us mammals on Lemmy any time one of you “writes” a comment. I’m seeing a disconnect in your reasoning here…
they have the exact same capacity as me to understand why veganism is a moral obligation.
This is a “begging the question” logical fallacy
this is an ad hominem and, as I stated, a thought-terminating cliché.
veganism is a moral obligation
carnism comes with victims
is it just cope?
What thoughtful discussion arises from someone repeatedly telling you that they’re morally superior to you for choosing one specific diet over another? You’re projecting here.
I have no issues with someone being vegan, but I take issue with self-righteous people such as yourself who can’t help but talk about how superior their choices are.
And here’s that exact superiority complex on display for all to see.
I still see people parroting these narratives about stuff like weed even after it has been legalized. Some people are too far down the propaganda rabbit hole.
Yes
Because the people in your private trackers have port forwarding enabled so a connection is still made but someone else who hasn’t setup port forwarding won’t be able to connect to you.
Prowlarr allows you to manage all the indexers/trackers in one location. This is helpful if you want to add or remove one or limit things from being automatically downloaded from site A but not B, C, and D like when you join a new private tracker and need to build ratio first.

Sees letter is dated 2004…
Why have you done this to me?
They’re saying you can pirate a copy from the high seas to keep on Plex/Jellyfin but pay for a digital copy in order to pay the artists/studios. You won’t want to rely on Prime Video to actually store or watch your purchases because it’ll be disappointing in both regards.
Often times on this sub there’s always an alternative being proposed, so I’m a bit shocked that this time most of the answers are simply “no”.
That’s simply because we can make our own rules and don’t have to abide by the terms IP holders set. Studios won’t give out DRM free media because then you can just copy it and share it online easily. That’s not to say you can’t already do that with current media, but there are ‘barriers’ in place along with laws against it.
As far as paying artists, with regards to TV and movies, who would you even pay of the hundreds/thousands of people that it takes to create them?
Someone took Monster’s “$100 gold plated HDMI” cable and one-upped it.
Carl is an amalgamation of 4Chan users as a whole, so it makes sense.
Damn bro, this is like seeing an 8-slot VCR or 50 disc CD changer.
Ditch the SD card all together and get a cheap SSD to use as the boot drive instead.
Have you tried Lidarr? This might help with finding files that are appropriately tagged versus those that aren’t. At the very least, you might consider duplicating the more hard to find stuff and ignore things like Taylor Swift and the like.
Same and I have pretty much have no opinion outside of that.
there are a LOT of crimes and maybe serious ones that can be summed up to “did stuff with ones and zeros”.
While that’s true, this ain’t really one of them. I don’t really support for profit piracy, but when juxtaposed against negligently taking a life, it’s insane to see the disparity between the punishments.
Wow he’s facing 48 years in prison for distributing some ones and zeros on the internet. A DEA agent recently ran over and killed a mother riding her bicycle near me after running a stop sign to catch up to his buddies and the courts ruled that he’s immune from being held liable for his actions.
Funny how justice works in the US.
Your entire argument is based on the assumption that your morals are the “correct morals” while everyone else who doesn’t align with you is incorrect. That’s a textbook definition of this fallacy.
That’s exactly what it is. Disagree? Explain in detail; don’t just say it like it’s obvious and a “no shit” kind of take.
Where has that happened here? I challenge you to quote the comment stating as much. Seems like you’re strawmanning here.
“Veganism isn’t about me, but if you criticize me personally, you’re criticizing veganism!”
This is hilariously illogical. It reads like someone whose brain is short circuiting from all the cognitive dissonance.
