The deck is probably going to get more support for longer even though it’s slightly weaker. Even after valve stops supporting it down the road there are already a bunch of Linux distros for the deck

You don’t need any other device to set up the steam deck unless you have 2FA through the steam app or something.
I tried to use fedora server or was it cloud? Idk but I tried fedora as a server and wanted to set up a VM but got confused. Storage pools scared me away. Will try to learn it when I have the time

Onirism maybe. It’s been on my wishlist for almost 5 years now but never worked on Linux. It does now but I’m also not in highschool anymore so not sure if I’ll like it.
I think a stable 30 is reasonable but I agree that 20-40 is not enjoyable. Honestly even a stable 20fps feels better then highs to lows
