You need the binder kernel modules such as binder_linux which aren’t included in the SteamOS kernel as well a needing to config up systemd services, etc.
Updating SteamOS will break all this do to it’s image based “immutable” nature.

I wonder if it’s possible to get running via waydroid, ofc, not really an option on SteamOS, but outside of that.

Minecraft Pocket Edition wasn’t made to be played on PC, so it’s to be expected.
Unfortunately, there’s not really an official bedrock edition for Linux other than server clients.
If you’re not opposed to the idea, I’d recommend playing Java Edition with Prism Launcher. It should run buttery smooth with minimal set-up; has SteamDeck gamepad support out of the box.

Those bad actors are really stupid, a VPN isn’t going to protect them. You’re not magically anonymous behind a VPN, and such material is obviously going to attract the attention of very skilled cyber security experts & law enforcements.

Not all instances keep logs…
Some intentionally discard them, look into the policys of the instance you’re signing up to.
All your comments and posts are hosted on your parent instance then shared to the federated instances.
Some instances don’t even let you sign up with an email or make it optional.
Lemmy.world keeps logs, but much more controversial instances often don’t.
Also it’s much more complex, because you have to think about the scope of the potential lawsuit as well as the given evidence that a user is actually sharing the material infringing on their copyright; which will not be a large amount of the user base. They can’t simply sue a user for having an account, the user has to actively be sharing infringing material.

You could use PiP and Ublock Origins on Firefox Mobile for a long time now.

Is your Ublock Origins & lists updated fully and configured right? Because Ublock Origins is supposed to be blocking the malvertisements from being shown at all.
At least it does for me on Firefox-nightly & Mull.

Lucky Patcher is Android only.
Also, you should really consider getting an adblocker because the entire web is covered with malvertisements.
Even YouTube has scam ads & malvertisements.
