You need the binder kernel modules such as binder_linux which aren’t included in the SteamOS kernel as well a needing to config up systemd services, etc.
Updating SteamOS will break all this do to it’s image based “immutable” nature.

Minecraft Pocket Edition wasn’t made to be played on PC, so it’s to be expected.
Unfortunately, there’s not really an official bedrock edition for Linux other than server clients.
If you’re not opposed to the idea, I’d recommend playing Java Edition with Prism Launcher. It should run buttery smooth with minimal set-up; has SteamDeck gamepad support out of the box.

Also it’s much more complex, because you have to think about the scope of the potential lawsuit as well as the given evidence that a user is actually sharing the material infringing on their copyright; which will not be a large amount of the user base.
