Apollo is still doing awesome! It’s called Orpheus now.
Apollo is still doing awesome! It’s called Orpheus now.
Opheus and REDacted are the two! RED has more and interview signups. I’m only on OPH because they welcomed WCD refugees and it’s been very good.
Deeeefonitely what.cd for me. RIP WCD. We have two great music trackers now, but nothing comes close to WCD.
I’ve been using it for a while and had no idea it didn’t support port forwarding! I know it’s important for torrenting, but my private tracker ratios are all 2:1 or more (my record is 6:1)
I should read up on why it’s important.
I’m fairly positive they meant “qbittorrent is a good torrent client” instead of “VPN”
As far as port forwarding, I know it’s important for seeding but I don’t know why.
Scene music? Like The Blood Brothers? (RIP)
Fuck yeah I do
That is the most incorrect tech take I’ve heard in a very long time.
Downloading MKVs and AVIs is infinitely more safe than janky ass streaming sites EVEN WITH ADBLOCKING
Me, eating breakfast at 3:30PM
Orpheus has a spiderweb map of similar artists at the bottom of every artist page. It’s not as in-depth as WCD’s was (RIP) but it’s serviceable!
I have three different RPIs. One is a 3b+ running Pi-hole. One is a 4 running OMV. One is a 5 running the basic PiOS for playing YouTube for my partner while they work.
I feel like I could be doing this better, but I’m ignorant. I would love some tips if anyone sees this comment.
My Pi 3b+ has an endurance MicroSD, my 4 has a SSD, and my 5 has a high end Sandisk Micro.
It’s one of my favorites! Also check out Search Engine, one of my favorite new podcasts with an amazing host. “What’s the best phone to do crimes on”, the latest episode, is excellent—Darknet Diaries covered the subject as well, but this goes into even more detail.
I also loved “Who’s behind all those spammy text messages?” but that one gets DARK.
Do you legitimately think software you run does not know what hardware it’s running on?
If so, I can’t help you.
Oh I super agree with you! The question was “does Steam know what your hardware is without consenting to a survey” and the answer is “yes absolutely Steam does!”
Also your last paragraph? I know software and I think you’re too lenient hahahaha
I don’t even use phone apps unless they have almost zero permissions.
…Introduction to Software Design?
I mean… they haaaaave all of your specs. They just keep them private unless you consent to the survey.
Everything you run has your specs.
You’ll find the rarest shit on SLSK.
Daaaamn throwback. They were my friend Sarah (RIP)’s favourite band.
During the early couple years of MBMBAM, I didn’t mind their ad reads. They made it funny. I never skipped Cumtown’s ad reads because they read them so shitty it was extremely funny.
Every other podcast I detest the reads.
Fuck you Shopify, your loud grating DING makes me flinch every time it blasts in my ears. I hate you.
Fascinating, I’ll give that a try, thank you!
Oh yeah! They weren’t down for long before they renamed hahaha
