When in Rome? I’ve only played the originals and they should all play on mid 00s hardware.
StarCraft, warcraft 2, HL, Portal, doom 1-2, Simpsons doom, quake 1-2, command and conquer series, Dune, NES emulator and the full game library zip.
I probably don’t need that many but yeah.
From a mouse lover who’s never heard of gyro aiming because eww joystick gross, that actually sounds really cool. I don’t like that the screen is coupled with the movement, but it gets you multiple sensitivity ranges including tactile precision on the same input device.
Start small, don’t dive in to the Arr suite right away unless you’re Linux savvy.
Get a VPN like Airvpn or mullvad, get torrent software like qbittorrent, and browse torrent sites on the top ten list at torrentfreak.com
Use jellyfin or Plex to stream your library from your computer to your TV if you’re into that or just connect a computer to your TV.
Seconded.
I have 250/50. I have noticed stuttering of streaming video if I am also downloading heavily so I cap during prime time but otherwise let er rip.
It is rigged. Exclusive deals keep content restricted so they’re not directly competing; if you want that show you have to pay for service X. Or, you know, yarrrr.
I’ll sometimes get the disc for movies I love. These usually come with some kind of digital voucher so I can stream it without having to muk around with physical discs, but I have the disc so can play it when I want. This happens seldom enough the discs fit in my TV stand.
Hoopla has better availability but a worse app. Libby can have long wait lists but I just keep a queue going. There’s always a good list of available now audiobooks to keep me going until my holds are available.
All the free audiobooks you want from your library using hoopla and Libby.
Why do I need a video of a photo?
Is docker hard to set up? I am hesitant to borrow the setup from some rando I don’t know.
This idea of ports and connectability is something I don’t understand. I guess I don’t know what ports really do.
As I dig into VPN setup I realize how little I understand about networking. I search for answers and find I don’t even understand the answers and have a hard time finding search terms that lead me to that basic level to build up my understanding.
And I was doing so well for so long. Anyways
I’m still looking for a justification of the arr suite. It’s not hard to find files and I like being able to choose.
I also still need to figure out how to use docker to sandbox my qbit+ VPN.
Franco was a nut. He did put out some nice android kernel mods though.
I know some of these words
I have lots of questions. I’ve always heard to use a VPN that doesn’t keep logs, this is the first I’ve heard of i2p. If I add i2p trackers that implies I still have non-i2p trackers so can still be identified. I feel like I need way more information on how to do this safely before I change anything.
