Mapped the back button for the minimap, show/hide loot, inventory and one for instant sell (Shift + left click).
Changed the right touch pad as mouse + left click for menus.
Set the left touchpad to work as a D-pad so I have 4 additional buttons there. So far left-right is the map zoom and up is the loot filter, down is the skills menu, but I’m thinking of making it into a virtual menu to include more stuff.
Cant comment on online mode so far, but suspend on offline mode works perfectly. I had the game running for 3 days like that and only quit when there was a new patch released :)
Last Epoch - on a gen 1 SD it runs great. Set for 40 fps, medium details, about 2 hours of battery life. Levelling my first character, a Falconer. It’s an offline char for now because of the server issues, but it’s fine, since I’m not planning multiplayer anytime soon, first I want to enjoy the story and learn all the mechanics without distractions.
The game is really good, and looks beautiful. Maybe the only negative is the default controller layout is not perfect, but nothing critical. With a little fine tuning it works like a charm.
They should go one step further and ban the programming language as well the emulator was created in. That will show them!
The right one as mouse, in RPGs, mostly isometric ones without gamepad support. Currently Pillars of Eternity 2. Works surprisingly well.
Also the left one I started using for virtual menus in games where I need to use lots of quickslots and/or abilities. The customisability is awesome, you can even add little icons to show what each menu item represents.
Awesome. Smooth 60 fps on mid-high settings and battery life was around 3 hours.
Also loading times were like 2-3 sec so it’s one of the best titles for the Deck I experienced so far.
These are pretty much always installed on my Deck:
Dead Cells
Dragons Dogma
Binding of Isaac
Children of Morta
These I finished recently on SD in one form or other:
Dishonored
The Stick of truth
…but there are plenty
Since it’s a non-competitive offline game cheating could be part of the fun, so no complaints here :)
Same here. DC is probably my favourite indie game since Terraria. Hundreds of hours of fun so far… …and still don’t have the final boss cell :(
I recently installed it and just had to run it in desktop mode first to skip the activation bit and it works with all DLCs enabled.
Oblivion Override - runs like a dream. Since it’s basically Dead Cells but with robots and more boss fights it was a no brainer for me. The controls are smooth and while the fights can be real chaotic I enjoy it a lot so far
Thanks. That was my plan B, just wanted to see if there are more convenient ways of doing it.
Thank you, also will check these out!
Sweet, I will check them out
Thank you. Not planning to game. I have that covered by my pc and game consoles :)
I will look into this, thanks!
I still don’t understand why they designed the case like this, the charger should easily fit inside without this “hole”
Not that I complain, they give everyone a case with the console, which is awesome but I personally got a slightly bigger one with enough room to store the charger, wireless earbuds and a cloth for the screen.
I received a transparent silicone case with a third party carrying bag I purchased and first wanted to throw it away but gave it a try.
I quite like it as it gives a much better grip and now it’s on my SD 3+ months now. It doesn’t feel bulkier at all(I have normal sized hands).
I used the SD without a protective case for 2 years before and it was also ok.
Unless the case makes the deck hot I think its only a personal preference
Thats like an ancient feature I am now used to :)
