I bought a 2021 VW GLI, it has a software component called Car-net that has literally never worked. I don’t even know what it’s supposed to do. The little I’ve found is that it’s supposed to have an app remote start and maybe a few other features, but according tk carnet, my car is still dealer owned. There have been at least six contacts to the car net folks from the dealer about the issue. I have a remote start on my FOB so whatever, but the car software support issue is so real. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Installed lutris from “Discover”, opened lutris, tapped “ubisoft connect”, confirmed location, tapped install. Launched Connect, logged in, installed Assassin’s Creed Mirage, played game.

I now have both. There are other improvements that haven’t been touted. The haptics are MUCH stronger on the oled. It’s actually a standout feature in my opinion. Dpad feels improved as well. Not mushy like the original. I’d even venture to suggest it’s a little clicky.

Here’s my logic. You can be elitist and know how to do the thing that this article is conveying already. Lemmy is populated by an overwhelming number of users who are technically capable of doing the thing this article is conveying. But there’s another wave of complaints that Lemmy lacks content, therefore cannot grow. This is content. And I submitted it, in the hopes that someone who is less technical doesn’t give up on this platform and go elsewhere.

The conversations revolving around the lack of content on lemmy aren’t taking into consideration the success of other reddit alternatives like Tildes. Tildes is busier than lemmy.
