maybe this will finally fix steam link?
nice touch adding the toilet to the office and parlor.
I can barely handle chat groups with 100 ppl.
I wrote an ESO addon manager for the steam deck. They don’t use nexus modes but I could probably figure that out.
I’m no fanboy but Windows just sucks for anything portable. At first I was exited to see how manufacturers would pivot to adopt linux for their portables. Now it’s just watching flop after flop.
They already support anti cheat… what you think ring0 anti cheat does is exactly what SteamOS does.
Wasn’t their peak like 500 concurrent or something like that?
Does the installation even fit?
Did they fix Remote Play? The change log says they fixed a single issue:
Remote Play
Fixed infinite loading animation when streaming from another PC
There are many issues that have been introduced since release of the steam deck.
I’d like to be able to use the steam overlay while remote play is running.
it worked amazing the first time i tried back at release it was astonishing. it has only gotten more buggy since.
im minimal with my mods but tamriel trading centre is pretty much required.
i wrote a command line addon updater for the steam deck. https://joyo.dev/eso/banana
ESO can be grindy depending on what you do.
im fine with that, gamers are the worst.
ill take a portable that can actually suspend.
youre providing more justifications for asking OP for context as i did.
the question was posed without conext so i asked.
if they had to import the steam deck then they should have mentioned it.
the cost of the steam deck is roughly equivalent in UK, CA, EU, and US.
sure, are you poor or something?
i didnt use an article, i just tried using steam the same way as lutris.
open desktop steam, add non steam for the exe installer. choose proton compatibility to experimental.
use protodb for installation tips.
make sure to complete setup and add the game launcher before switching to gamepad mode.
Lutris isnt required anymore, valve added a simplified way of installing through the steam client.
Lutris is a great project tho, I use it on my desktop.
a workaround is making sure the device is unplugged before suspend.
there’s apparently no will to fix this through UEFI or Microsoft so always unplug first.
maybe they’ll fix all the massive issues windows has on portables but im not holding my breath.
