My prime was already cancelled because they billed me in early January, when that extra $100 could be used on Christmas gifts, so it always snuck up on me.
I didn’t use it enough to justify it anyway.
I’m able to get a lot of gear secondhand through my job, so I’ve got:
One 2u Intel server running proxmox in a ‘cluster’ (circa 2013ish. Added RAM and upgraded the CPU/storage.)
One Intel nuc with an i7-7th gen as the other host in the cluster - only one VM is set to fail over between the two if needed.

All acquired over the last couple years for the low low price of “it was going into the trash anyway”
Plex+Plexamp works great for audiobooks
For some reason the regular Plex player would restart tracks on me after being out of the app for a long time. But Plexamp seems to have that one under control.
Oh, also, while we’re talking audiobooks, check out Graphic Audio versions of your various books. They do a great job
The reason Valve is so heavily investing in Linux is that they know that Microsoft could - in theory - flip a switch and kill their business, especially because Microsoft themselves is a competitor to Valve in the form of Xbox and Gamepass.
It’s a defensive tactic, not a money-making venture.
Nintendo is just on their own planet when it comes to… Basically everything, including game pricing.
