When I create the new user in containers, should I create the same user in proxmox host and change ownership of the hdd, and all existing files in it, to it? Probably yes, right? Did you know that authors only get 25% cut from their book? Amazon is pocketing the rest. Sanderson said couple of days ago, that he made them change it and it should come to effect sometimes in 2024. We don’t know what the new terms are, but I doubt it is even remotely close to already pretty low industry standard of 70%. I would guess it will be somewhere around 40 at best.
In couple of months I will be building my first server and I was looking for something for audiobooks too. What do you mean that subfokders are not supported? Now I manualy add books to my phone and my folder structure is: Books series > * Book 1 * Book 2
Or Standalone books > * Book X * Book Y

I don’t really care about stats, I have Storygraph for that. But what is the difrence between books finished and books listened to? Shoudnt the latter be bigger number than the former?

I guess I will just stick to good old “Download in sequential order” and watching it in vlc while it is downloading.
Unless your upload speed is really big, you wont get any meaningful ratio if you are only seeding while watching the movie(in reasonable quality).
My government doesn’t care about piracy. I will probably set up Stremio for some family members too. I will put Superflix addon on top and then torrentio. Superflix is pretty good because it doesnt use torrents, but it doesn’t have as many sources as torrentio of course, and quality is mostly listed as Auto. But for less tech savy family members it should be fine.

As far as I know most inbuilt adblockers, don’t work very well. Especially with yt. Everytime yt does something, you would probably have to wait for new version of your browser, and even then it is questionable if it would work. With ublock origin you just click on one button and you are good to go. If somebody doesn’t know, I’m talking about refreshing your filters.
