Is setting up a VM in Linux any different than doing it in Windows? Would I just copy the files over when it is finished?

Are these launchers that provide a wrapper similar to Steam and Proton? Do you recommend one over the other, or is it dependent on game?
Yup, just saw this as well. Goodbye Braflix and thank you for your service
I’m not really sure if this is what you are looking for, or even if they do packs (it was easy enough to search and click magnet links), but I was a big fan of MeGusta. I haven’t downloaded in a while, so I don’t actually know if they are still active. I’m more worried about size than quality typically, so I apologize if it isn’t up to your standards
Sorry, I meant the early leaked copies specifically
That’s awesome, I didn’t know it went that far back
They typically do in my experience
I’m so conflicted
Oh. That is not how it comes off in your original comment
Care to elaborate?
Wait until they hear we have bots doing it all for us
That literally says theory in the title
This isn’t even your instance and you are telling me to leave lmao
I have so many things to be angry at Nintendo for I don’t see the point in complaining about them emulating their own games. Why is Dolphin still around? I played Earthbound legally on my Wii U. I understand you can no longer obtain it, and you should most definitely pirate it, but they have released it again. I’ve pirated all my Nintendo games for years. Fuck 'em. If they want to emulate their own games in their own museum, alright
Then please explain the Dolphin Emulator to me
we’re mad at nintendo precisely because they do not, themselves preserve games.
they also use their ROMs and emulations to sell games to the consumer
Which is it? If they are selling the games they are preserved
I said above they are going after developers. What I said they were not doing was going after an individual for simply playing a game with an emulator
If you are going to rehash an old argument at least take the time to read it
That’s very interesting. I can’t even think of a game worth doing that for. Not trying to say there isn’t, I just don’t have one off the top of my head
This is very educational, thank you. Just out of curiosity, what has Nintendo done with the 64dd? I thought they had forgotten about it
They’ve never sued anyone for playing an emulated game. They have (most likely wrongly) threatened emulator developers over circumventing copyright and encryption. I don’t like it anymore than anybody else, but are we actually mad at a company for preserving their games? You can hate them for what they are doing to others while still being ok with their own emulation
You are right. Sorry for being so snarky. The modding community for the SNES Classic mostly preferred Nintendo’s own emulator, Canoe. I just assumed Nintendo would continue to use it
All we can do is speculate for now. They will never see another dime from me personally. I just don’t see why we are persecuting them for emulation of all things. Be mad they are fucking over other emulator developers, but a company emulating their own games isn’t anything new
Perfect, thank you!
