Huh, neat, good to know!
Migrating here (or maybe keeping both) from @ArcaneSlime@lemmy.ml
Will put an eternal curse on your enemies for a Cinemageddon invite.

Wait really? What’s the site, just go to microsoft.com or something with linux and it redirects you? That’s hilariously petty but also useful lmao.
I’ve seen many a ROM be SuperMarioBros3.exe just straight up, but never .nes.exe so idk if that counts.
Using it right now and I can absolutely say you’re wrong. Still waiting on a fix for that whole “wrong image in the thumbnail” situation for starters.
Oh cool, TIL thanks!
There’s also “Newpipe X Sponsorblock” (iirc that’s the name) on IzzyOnDroid’s repo that incorporates it as well.
Never heard of tubular, do they make any other changes or is it just the SB integration?
He’s right, usenet isn’t p2p, but finding old movies there can be a challenge. Still, I manage just fine for old movies with ipt and tl for the most part, or the rare thing I can only find on soulseek of all places. Archive actually has a bunch too.
Even then I still don’t think you could stop it. Maybe put a dent in it by taking down sites that host them, but all that’ll do really is push indexers onto .onion or i2p, or make it so you share the torrent files by word of mouth or matrix/telegram groups, or back to IRC.
Torrents and usenet my dude. Unless you’re looking for something real specific like Brazilian balloon popper fart porn, you’ll find something.
*Software: Idk, never really messed with pirating software, that’s how you become part of someone’s botnet.
*Movies and TV shows: Torrents and Usenet.
*Adult Content: Torrents and Usenet.
*Music: Slsk and yt-dlp.
Look into installing jackett too and then use the jackett plugin with the qbit search, better than stock qbit search plugins.

Awesome, thanks for the info!
Hijacking to ask a semi related question, does protonvpn support port forwarding on linux yet? Last I checked I heard no, but airvpn has been less than optimal.
You could probably use find and ffmpeg.
So like soulseek?
OOHHH Mad libs! I love these!
Rocks don’t lick buttholes, it’s people that lick buttholes.
True, and a knife is an effective tool for cutting, the problem comes in when one decides instead of shooting some paper or cutting a steak, they shoot or cut a person (excluding legal self defense ofc, that’s fine).
Oh yeah that’s way out of my wheelhouse too lol. Hopefully someone online has or posts a video on fixing it (or at least a similar table with the same issue)!
Hey I want to try out slackware real bad (for my own, religious reasons. Praise “Bob”).
So anyway I was wondering, I’ve heard it’s more difficult than your average distro, mainly in the sense that dependencies are not managed by a package manager like the dnf I’m used to, but then I’ve also heard they have tools for that now. Before I try it out I’d like to ask a few people like yourself how they manage dependencies, and if there are any other tips you’d like to share.
