I went into my router settings and enabled it, then copied the profile over

My router supported it out of the box, then just install the OpenVPN connect client. Not sure how to do it otherwise

It’s not a 1:1, but I use OpenVPN (I run my own home server), I gave one of my friends the profile and it works just fine. Pretty easy, imo

It’s the developers of the software itself, not the hosts of any particular instanve.

Yeah I’ve considered leaving Lemmy because of who is in charge of development right now. They were not ready for its sudden burst in popularity and are not handling it well.
