    Yes but if you don’t purchase games on Steam, you don’t get to play them.

      So…?

      I can download a free game on Steam and not download the paid DLC that unlocks whatever feature. How’s that hard to grasp compared to this piece of software?

        Yes, free, not “optional purchase”. If the game is listed for free there is no mechanism to purchase it on Steam. How’s that hard to grasp?
